- Open Photoshop
- Begin with a custom layout in PhotoShop.
- Set it to the ppi/dpi and px you need.
- Then upload your image.
- Size the image to fill the layout grid. Click “Done“.
- Make sure to save to cloud.
It will truly pixel by pixel upscale your image.

- Open Photoshop
- Choose Popular dimensions
- Choose Custom layout
- Set it to the ppi/dpi and px you need
- Name your custom setting and save
- Next, Upload your low-res image
- It may look like a dot. That’s OK
- Size the image to fill the layout grid. Click “Done“.
- It may look grainy, just wait (it is upscaling pixel by pixel)
- See your new image!
- Make sure to save to cloud.
USING YOUR UPSCALED IMAGE IN ADOBE EXPRESS
- Then if you have a template you are using in AE:
- Open that file and
- click “your stuff” and then files.
- You will see the upscaled Photoshop image and can place it.
- Also remember to max the px in AE.
- Once you place the image, click resize.
- Make sure the ratio is locked.
- Then make the largest number equal 8000.
- It will keep your porportions and you will have an amazing image!
